Knowledge & Technology

Our design team are a group of people immersed in retail interiors and current lighting technology and trends. With a broad, diverse skill-set, we are able to undertake all aspects of lighting design from conceptual work through to the roll-out of lighting schemes across an estate. Great lighting design doesn’t always come with massive client budgets so our aim is to use our client’s resources effectively ensuring that a re-lighting project to save energy costs can be as defining and important as the lighting design to a new store concept in a flagship location.

Our process


We love to talk about new projects, they excite us. We start by meeting and discussing every aspect of the project; from concept to finishes to the desired lit effect. Our lighting designers and account managers want to create amazing retail spaces and their passion and commitment to helping you through this critical phase will be evident.


Once we understand the concept and brief, our designers will prepare a suite of documents to ably assist you in understanding the lighting concept. These documents include mood boards, concept renders, detailed lighting calculations and renders, AutoCAD drawings and energy assessments, ensuring you have to hand all of the correct information required at each stage of the project. So, whether you are seeking board approval or landlords permission, our team are here to support you all the way.


Once the construction phase starts our work doesn’t end. Our design team and account managers are at hand so that we can provide technical information and assistance for the installation team, develop lighting manuals for the visual merchandising teams and undertake design reviews as your brand and stores change. Design doesn’t stop once a construction drawing pack is produced, its constant, ever-changing and is at the heart of everything we do.
