GAIL’s Bakery
We have partnered with GAIL’S Bakery to create beautiful, sustainably focused bakeries again and again. The GAIL’s team embraces new ideas and is committed to reducing their environmental impact. They respect the history of their buildings. As early adopters of our biopolymer range, they welcomed our first UK-made biopolymer 3D printed spotlight. NORT debuted at GAIL’s Bakery Cambridge. Since then, GAIL’s has switched from traditional aluminium lighting to our biopolymer alternatives wherever possible.

Southwark
Set in the former 1911 London Fire Brigade HQ, GAIL’s ‘Moonshot Bakery’ is their most sustainable project to date. We chose our UK-made Silk NORT GS spotlights for their efficient performance in reducing CO₂ impact. We created a scheme that flows with the building’s curves, guiding customers seamlessly from entrance to seating, blending heritage, sustainability, and experience.
Cheshire Oaks
A stunning addition to GAIL’s bakeries is Cheshire Oaks. Large glass windows of the modern building created a bright and fresh feel, complemented by the installation of Silk NORT track spotlights, which seamlessly blended the interior’s warm tones across the two floors. We used wide and narrow beams to enhance the indoor/outdoor aesthetic and create a relaxing atmosphere.
Millennium Bridge
Nestled between St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Tate Modern, the Millennium Bridge bakery’s interior draws from the area’s industrial heritage. Following the minimalist design approach, our Silk NORT track spotlights blended seamlessly into the ceiling. A mix of beam angles provided ambient lighting for seating, while focused illumination for the menu and bakery displays enhanced the overall customer experience.
